Agile Microgrid Power, LP (hereinafter “AMP”), established in 2021, has partnered with the Global Fortune 500, nickel and stainless-steel giant – Tsingshan Holding Group (hereinafter “Tsingshan”). Our bankability is reflected in our Tier 1 status as per BNEF, with over 4.5GWh of product already deployed in the US. Our customers include names recognized around the globe.
Tsingshan, established in 1992, has been ranked as the world’s top stainless steel and nickel iron producer. The company established bases in China, Indonesia, the United States, India, Zimbabwe and other global locations. In 2017, Tsingshan ventured in the energy industry by expanding the supply chain of nickel cobalt ore resources to lithium-ion battery manufacturing industry for resource synergy.
The company has R&D centers in Shanghai, Wenzhou, and Jiaxing, and production bases in Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Liuzhou, Foshan, and Chongqing. We invested $20 billion to establish a 50-GWh production line in Indonesia at the Tsingshan Industrial Complex. Current production capacity exceeds 60 GWh, with an expected capacity to exceed 150 GWh by EOY 2025 with the Indonesia factory.
With our Indonesia factory, our BESS products are positioned to avoid the expected China tariffs, starting Q1 2026 at competitive pricing. AMP’s technology advancements include the highest cell density and cycle life in the industry with 314Ah and 345Ah cells in the same size as standard 280Ah cells, and R&D is developing 7+MWh containers as early as 2025 with soon to be released 600+Ah cells.
